You make payments to Getacon, and Getacon handles payments to the consultants. At the end of each month, Getacon provides you with a statement that includes the consultant’s activity tracker. After reviewing and approving the activity tracker, you make the outstanding payment to Getacon. Once Getacon receives your payment, the consultant will be paid through bank transfer.

Getacon has the ability to source consultants for your project on short notice, typically within 48 hours. However, a lead time of ten working days between the project briefing and project commencement would be optimal.

It serves two vital purposes: Firstly, it lays out the general project conditions, such as the project’s duration, budget, and consultant requirements. Secondly, before initiating a project, it is critical to define the project goals with precision. Knowing which problem you want to solve and what outcomes you desire is crucial for effective communication and purposeful execution of the project.

If you are considering engaging a consultant you previously hired through Getacon, we would be pleased to facilitate such collaboration. However, we must ensure that Getacon retains the exclusive rights to the collaboration after the project is completed. Therefore, if you and the consultant wish to work together again within 16 months of the project’s end, it must be arranged through Getacon. Please be assured that our efficient project handling processes will be of benefit to you in this regard.

No, Getacon is 100% free for independent consultants.

To become a member of the Getacon consultant community, you should fulfill at least one of the criterias below:

  • Management Consultants

Must have 2 or more years of experience working in a top-tier consulting firm or a similar fast-paced environment (e.g. private equity, investment banking).

  • Digital Experts

Should possess at least 5 years of experience working in a leading digital company or possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in digital transformation topics or functions.

  • Industry Experts

Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in a senior position at a blue-chip company.

Certainly, it’s possible to sign up for Getacon even if you have a full-time job. We aim to assist you in your career transition and provide you with insight into the types of projects available. However, it’s important to allocate a minimum of 10 hours per week (or more, depending on the project) for project work.

Certainly, our goal is to connect experienced industry professionals and skilled management consultants. We firmly believe that combining industry expertise with consulting skills is the foundation for achieving lasting project success. However, we require a minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a defined industry and functional focus, or at least 2 years of experience as a startup founder.

We’ve created an algorithm that matches individuals or teams based on their qualifications such as their experience, role, industry and functional expertise. It also takes into account their personal preferences such as working hours, location, minimum project duration and daily rate. Additionally, it considers feedback from past projects to suggest suitable matches.
You will receive information about the proposed project on the Getacon platform and via email. You will have two working days (or four) to decide if you want to accept the project and, if necessary, choose which other consultants you would like to work with.
You have complete authority. Our matching algorithm proposes potential team members, and they can communicate with each other afterward. However, the ultimate decision about whether to accept the project and with whom to collaborate remains entirely up to you.
The process varies depending on whether you have been chosen as a solo consultant or as part of a team on Getacon. Once you have been selected for a project, a Getacon best-practice kick-off will be provided to you.
Yes, in order to facilitate prompt payment, it is mandatory to track your working hours with a brief summary of your tasks through our user-friendly activity tracker. The client will have access to this information and must approve it.
With Getacon, you will invoice us directly without any extra manual effort. You can create the invoice easily through the activity tracker every month.

Payments for projects are made on a monthly basis, and must be completed no later than 35 working days after the previous calendar month. To ensure payment, the time worked must be submitted through the activity tracker and approved by clients. For short projects lasting up to four weeks, payment will be made 35 working days after the end of the project.

If you encounter any disputes with the client or other team members during the project, please inform Getacon as soon as possible. Getacon will act as a mediator to assist both parties in finding a mutually acceptable solution.

Here are some ways that Getacon evaluates independent consultants during and after a project:

1. Monitoring progress: Getacon keeps track of how well the consultant is progressing in completing the project tasks on time and according to the client’s expectations.

2. Quality of work: Getacon assesses the quality of the consultant’s work and ensures that it meets the standards set by the client and Getacon.

3. Client feedback: Getacon collects feedback from the client on the consultant’s performance during the project and uses this information to improve their matching algorithm for future projects.

4. Team feedback: If the consultant works as part of a team, Getacon collects feedback from the team members on the consultant’s collaboration and contribution to the project.

5. Overall rating: Getacon provides the consultant with an overall rating based on their performance across multiple projects. This rating can be used to help match the consultant with future projects that are a good fit for their skills and experience.

6. Continuous improvement: Getacon provides feedback to the consultant on areas for improvement and encourages ongoing learning and development to enhance their skills and expertise.

7. Conflict resolution: Getacon acts as a mediator if any disputes arise during the project and help to find an acceptable solution for all parties involved.

No action will be taken initially, as occasional negative feedback is possible. However, providing high-quality services to clients is one of our core values. If you receive negative feedback for two consecutive projects or multiple projects overall, we reserve the right to terminate your membership in the Getacon community.
We hope that the collaboration between you and the client has been satisfactory. After the project, it is important for Getacon to secure the exclusive rights to the collaboration. If you and the client plan to work together again within 16 months of the project’s completion, you must do so through Getacon.
Occasionally, you may receive project offers from Getacon that do not align with your interests. To address this, we have launched the Getacon recommendation initiative. By simply introducing us to a prospective client and if we are successful in securing the project, you will receive a portion of our profit as a reward.
